March for Life
In March 2025, Rescue Women Foundation held its very first March for Life—a landmark event aimed at raising awareness about teenage pregnancy and supporting vulnerable women and girls in our community.
We were able to raise a total of $1,653, and out of this, $1,570 was used for the March for Life. Unfortunately, we were unable to distribute Mama Kits to pregnant women or provide sanitary towels for young girls due to the lack of funds (original budget was $4,500).
Despite facing several challenges, including heavy rain and last-minute changes to the location and schedule, the march was a resounding success.

💜Community involvement – 36 participants including active participation from men

We were especially proud to involve men and boys in the movement. Their engagement is vital in building a society where women and girls are protected, respected, and empowered.

“Your contributions made a real difference. You helped spark critical conversations and inspired action.”

Mama Kits and Sanitary Pad Distribution
In June 2024, we distributed 6 months' worth of reusable pads to the islands and slums of Kampala helping young girls stay in school during their menstrual cycles and avoid being forcefully married off. Also distributed were our MAMA KITS to pregnant teens with materials for a safe delivery outside a hospital like cotton, gauze, blades, surgical thread, etc. Buwaya is a village on one of the small Islands in Uganda. It's a village where at least 4 out of every 10 women die during childbirth because they can't afford the necessities asked by the government free hospitals.

We hold this amazing charity drive twice every year. Donations to this cause are always appreciated.

Graduation Ceremony
We are so happy to announce that on August 2, 2024, eleven of our dear girls graduated from vocational institution. We have certified mechanical engineers, plumbers, electrical engineers, hairdressers, and fashion designers.
